It’s Not All Racing!
Sometimes things happen out of racing that require a little generosity. Recently there was an environmental disaster in Valencia Spain. A flood which caused the deaths of 232 people and substantial property damage. This was one of the deadliest natural disasters in Spanish history.
There was a disaster appeal set up to help the people affected by the flood damage and thousands of volunteers from around Spain and further afield came together to help. There were many fund-raising events held in Spain to raise funds to help.
Rogues Gallery Racing have members across the globe and some of our Spanish members attended a fund-raising night in at Olivia's in Marbella. This was a charity auction and Rogue Gallery Racing Commander in Chief Tony Elliot donated a share in our five-horse racing package.
This was the inspiration for Rogue Gallery members to raise some money for the appeal. One of our horses, Rogue Encore ran and won at Newcastle on November 1st , 2024. We acquired the high-resolution course photographer's high-resolution download and had a large canvas print created of Rogue Encore which had Luke Morris on board.
We raffled the print amongst our members and the outcome was a whopping £1000 which we were delighted with and proudly donated it to the Valencia Flood Appeal.
