Royal Ascot – Group 2 Winner!!!!!

ROGUE Millennium gave us all a day we shall never forget when winning the Group 2 Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot on Wednesday afternoon.

The daughter of Dubawi deserved this first Group success having been placed in three Group races including last time out when she was second in the Middleton Stakes a York.

The speed she showed that day, and in her subsequent homework, prompted her sporting owners The Rogues Gallery to supplement her for this mile race at a cost of just over £13,000.

Their faith was rewarded when their lovely filly, ridden for the first time by Danny Tudhope, got up late inside the final furlong to win by a neck.

“The whole team have done a terrific job and to win here is the best feeling. Dropping her down in trip was a risk but she’s got quicker and has a phenomenal cruising speed. She travelled so well and I knew she’d pick up and stay the stiff mile well. It’s a fabulous result.”
